Connectivity Point (CPDI) worked directly with Argo Marketing Group as part of a project to rehab an abandoned retail building in Lewiston, Maine, and transform it into Argo’s new corporate headquarters and hub for 160 customer service agents, administrative personnel and training center.
The project is intended to give the independently-owned, 300 person company—which provides customer care services to clients around the world—a permanent home and present a model for what a modern-day customer service/call center operations should look like.
Connectivity Point worked with the client to design a structured cabling system—installing more than 50,000 feet of copper category 6 cabling and an armored 6 strand multi-mode fiber backbone to support a combination of 200+ work stations, conference rooms, training room and private office space.
Connectivity Point’s audio/visual design group worked collaboratively with ownership to build an audio/visual system that would support their high tech training and conference rooms. In addition, a digital signage board was installed in the reception area and call center floor consisting of LED flat screen TVs. Conference rooms were fitted with an LCD projector and powered screen, along with multiple audio/visual accessories.
Connectivity Point is proud to work with Argo and others that help make customer service a significant and growing industry in Maine. L.L. Bean, also a CPDI cabling client, has a call center just a block away.
