CM&B Construction chose Connectivity Point to install structured cabling—including telephone, computer, POS, wireless and security—for Nordstrom Rack located in South Portland, Maine.

The 30,000 sq. ft. store was completely gutted before construction began. New Category 6 cabling was installed, from man-lifts, in painted cable tray and conduit throughout the open ceiling store. CM&B utilized Connectivity Point for all low-voltage communications cabling, which helped streamline coordination on a tight timeframe. All cabling was tested and certified. The telecom room was fit-out with cable tray, equipment racks and cable management, prior to Nordstrom’s equipment vendors arrival, thus enabling them to install equipment with confidence in the cabling.

Nordstrom Rack, the off-price division of Nordstrom Inc., has over 100 stores across the country.
