Putney, Inc., based in Portland, Maine, develops generic equivalents for branded pet medications. Since their launch in 2006, Putney has made the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies list twice and continues to grow and expand. To accommodate this growth, Putney moved into two new floors of renovated office space.
Working with this sophisticated biotech company, Connectivity Point designed a structured cabling system consisting of Category 6 copper cable to support a combination of workstations, private offices, conference rooms and a receptionist area.
Connectivity Point’s audio/visual division designed and installed a sound masking system with 108 emitters and a QT600 controller from Cambridge Sound Management. The same audio/visual experts designed and installed a series of flat panel LED TVs, short throw smart technology projectors and convenient cable cubby wiring within eight conference rooms.
This integral cabling, sound masking and audio/visual solution provides a more efficient and comfortable work environment for Putney staff.
A positive work environment promotes productivity, as well as employee satisfaction, as indicated by Putney’s top spot in the small/medium size company category on the 2013 Best Places to Work in Maine list.
