Saco River Dentistry recently completed construction of their new building in Buxton, Maine.
Connectivity Point worked in a design/build capacity for the building in the areas of network cabling, audio-visual systems, sound masking, overhead paging, and security systems. The uniquely designed building included private offices, meeting spaces, huddle areas, recovery rooms, training rooms, and exam rooms throughout the building.
Connectivity Point’s sister company, Connectivity Group, designed and installed a Kantech access control system, ExacqVision IP security cameras and a Tritech Intrusion system, which can all be controlled from the same platform using DSC software.
The AV team at Connectivity Group designed systems including an 82” screen, a 75” screen, four 50” screens and three 40” screens in conference, training, meeting, recovery and exam rooms which Connectivity Point installed. A unique feature was a Nexus 21 L-90 pop-up lift for the 82” TV, which rises out of a custom designed wooden shelf/workspace area. Connectivity Point also installed a Cambridge Sound Management sound masking system with two QT-600 controllers and 88 sound masking emitters to help improve the acoustical environment of the space.
This integral security, sound masking, network cabling and audio/visual solution provides a functionally efficient and pleasant working environment for Saco River Dentistry patients and employees to enjoy.
