T-Mobile selected Connectivity Point Design and Installation (CPDI) as their contractor for the complete renovation of a seven-story call center in Atlanta, Georgia.
This remodel consisted of the re-cabling of all seven floors, removal of existing cable and the installation of over 1,200 Category 5e locations for this Uniprise certified cabling solution. The structured cabling backbone consisted of multimode fiber and high-pair count copper cabling from the MDF to each of the seven IDFs.
CPDI was also responsible for the IDF build-out for each of the seven IDFs. This work included equipment rack/vertical wire managers/overhead cable tray installation and the installation and labeling of all patch cords. CPDI worked closely with T-Mobile to install the T-Mobile provided Hydra Cabling solution which allowed for a high density environment.
T-Mobile has always shown a commitment to technology and structured cabling. CPDI adhered to T-Mobile’s strict standards for installation, labeling, and documentation which ensured T-Mobile that the environment would meet their expectation and allow them to maintain the facility for future growth.
CPDI provided weekly status updates and progress pictures during this 5-month project which gave the T-Mobile project manager confirmation that goals were being met in a timely manner and per the pre-established standards.
CPDI was pleased to be a key player in the successful renovation of this facility which was completed ahead of schedule and within budget.
