CPDI announced recently that Tim Hooper has been named President of The Connectivity Group. As President, Hooper will oversee all Connectivity Group operations, working closely with Tom Aube, who will continue in his role as senior director.
Hooper has been with Connectivity Point Design and Installation since its founding in 2002 and since 2004 has served as Vice President. In 2007 Hooper was instrumental in in the development of The Connectivity Group. The Connectivity Group was created to act as a sister company to Connectivity Point and provide low voltage design and installation services to national and international customers, and has provided project management services to customers in 44 states in the U.S. and 22 countries around the world.
“Tim has been with us since the beginning and he’s been an integral part of the growth of Connectivity Point,” said Doug Watt, President of Connectivity Point. “Tim’s incredible work ethic and ‘fix first’ attitude for our customers has always been the benchmark that set the standard for us all to follow. I’m positive that the focus he will bring to this new role will promote new growth at Connectivity Group.”
